Red goes for win number 600 this weekend

Antoine Pitts over at MLIVE reports on Red Berenson’s quest to win his 600th game as the coach of the University of Michigan ice hockey team. He can accomplish the feat this weekend when Michigan plays Northern Michigan. Berenson’s old nemesis at Michigan State University, Ron Mason, is the career leader in wins with 924.

Pitts gives a good, brief recap of Berenson’s career prior to becoming the head coach at Michigan.
