Meme so Ronery

I am new to this whole meme thing, but Brennan over at Gloveside tagged me and said “you’re it” so I will be a good sport and give it a whirl.

Team: Saginaw Spirit. I’m not quite ready for prime time. But keep an eye out for me in Detroit in 2009-10, as Red Wings Central opines I will likely be a depth energy forward who will play part time in Detroit.

Uniform Number: 84. Guillaume Latendresse stole my thunder! I had that number before him and planned to be the first NHL’er to rock the 84 uni. If only I made the show at the age of 19.

Position: Left Wing. The team always plays the left wing lock when I am on the ice.

Nickname: Davs, with the hope being that since it has a vaguely Russian sound I might get some PP ice time.

Dream Linemates: Hank and Pavs

Rounding out the [dream] PP: Norris and Kronner.

Job: Try my best not to allow any odd man rushes.

Signature Move: Dump the puck while the coach screams for a line change

Strengths: Energy, endurance

Weaknessess: That would be skill

Injury Problems? No coach, really, seriously, there isn’t a single thing bothering me. I’m fit as a fiddle. Oh so I’m going to be a healthy scratch tonight? Okay, do they serve nachos up in the press box?

Equipment: College hockey style facemask and one of the new Pavel Datsyuk Reebok 9KO twigs.

Nemesis: Patrick Kane

Scandal Involvement: Being the point man on the Saginaw Spirit’s NCAA basketball tournament pool

Who I’d face in the Stanley Cup Finals: The Canadiens. Then I could bust Gordie Howe’s and Ted Lindsay’s and Alex Delvecchio’s chops [ha ha never happen]

What I’d do with the Stanley Cup after our victory: Barbecue and party with my brothers and friends and do some ridiculously large shots out of Lord Stanley’s shotglass.

Would the media love me or hate me? They would hate me because I would only answer questions posed to me in French and none of my answers would make any sense as I haven’t actually studied or spoken French since high school. But somehow the French Canadian press would appreciate my style, even though I punked their Canadiens in the Stanley Cup Finals.
