Jack Johnson Interview

The Detroit Sports Rag shows some signs of life with a great interview with University of Michigan defenseman Jack Johnson. Johnson was asked about a potential nickname a Los Angeles Kings message board has come up with for him:

JS: In Los Angeles, a fan based message board has given you the nickname “Jack Mother Fu***** Johnson”. Do you like the new moniker?

JJ: I appreciate it, I think! I don’t know if it is a nickname that will stick, for obvious reasons, but it is one of the better names I’ve had. Maybe they can abbreviate it to “JMFJ” to avoid any conflicts.

Brian over at MGoBlog had a good one as well, referring to Johson as a PCP-crazed Godzilla. So based on the nicknames don’t count on Johnson winning many Lady Byng trophies, alright? The Michigan hockey team has started to take care of business, sweeping Western Michigan this weekend.

Michigan is currently in second place in the CCHA. They have played with much more consistency of late and find themselves four points behind first-place Notre Dame.
