Trade for Bill Guerin Now
That is what Ansar Khan says over at his MLIVE blog.
…when you have Dominik Hasek you better seize the opportunity to win it all now because you might not get this good a chance in the next few years. I think Guerin would be ideal for this team…The Blues are going to take the best deal they can get.
I’ve been a big supporter of trading for Bill Guerin but I don’t know what it will cost to do so. I trust the Red Wings general manager to make the right decision. If he is able to do a deal that makes sense I think Guerin would be a huge acquition, better than Peter Forsberg given what Detroit needs: scoring, speed and a little sandpaper. Guerin would provide all of those qualities.
Put him on that second line with Dan Cleary and Robert Lang and Detroit would likely have two dangerous scoring lines.
