Bertuzzi joins practice today
Todd Bertuzzi is still a couple weeks away from appearing in a game, but Helene St. James reports he will be at practice today.
It could be near the end of March…before Bertuzzi makes an impact. He’s still recovering from November back surgery, and while he will be practicing with the Wings today, he remains two to three weeks from playing.
St. James also reports that Mikael Samuelsson should be cleared today. He has been recovering from a broken foot. He is expected to return to the lineup within 1-2 weeks. So the team should really start to hit it’s stride near the end of March and beginning of April.
That probably will not help them win the division or conference but it could help them hit their stride right when the playoffs begin. Just hope the team gets healthy in the meantime and that their aren’t any setbacks.
