Nate Robertson put on DL for…sucking?

That’s what it sounds like:
Nate Robertson said again Wednesday that he’s not hurt. A few minutes later, the Detroit Tigers left-hander was on the disabled list.
“This is probably the most beneficial decision for the team,” Robertson said, after a half-hour meeting with manager Jim Leyland.
The cause for being put on the DL is being termed a sore arm. I’ll tell you whose arm is really sore - the scorekeeper who had to keep track of those crooked numbers Nate was putting up. So rest up Nate and hopefully that will help get the suck out. All joking aside, the team has been hit hard with injuries. They just have to keep Cleveland in their sights while they aren’t fully healthy. So long as they don’t let the Tribe run away from them in the standings they should be in good shape. So 2.5 back right now isn’t all that bad.
The Tigers will pick in a very foreign spot during today’s draft. They will pick 27th. So the Lions look to be the only team that continues to have a shot at drafting the top players in the draft.
