Lidstrom in round two
Ace of Sports has begun round two for their tournament to determine the top athlete in Detroit sports over the past decade. Right now Nicklas Lidstrom is going up against Magglio Ordonez with the winner moving on to the finals. This should be an easy victory for Lidstrom as Ordonez has spent most of the last decade playing for the White Sox. So go out and vote for Lidstrom to move him into the finals.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get any information about whether the Stanley Cup will be on display other than being brought to the Cell and displayed on the field. It looks like there’s a good chance of rain so the game might not even get played so the odds of being able to get an up close look at the Cup or any pictures seem a bit long.
