Back on track and headed to the House
Detroit has won two-straight to join a three-way logjam atop the Central division. Nick Lidstrom potted a goal last night and leading goal-scorer Tomas Holmstrom potted the game-winner.
Mule has pretty much picked up where he left off with four very high-quality scoring chances that he converted into two goals. Ty Conklin was superb in his first start for the Wings last night, turning aside about a half-dozen very solid shots on goal. The team will head to the White House today to receive presidential acknowledgment of their Stanley Cup championship last season. I think it’s good to get it out of the way early and move on to focus all of their attention on defending their title this season.
